Manual therapy
Manual therapy includes techniques such as; massage, joint manipulation/ mobilisation, and gentle indirect techniques. These all aim to decrease pain and improve mobility.
Exercise rehabilitation
Exercise rehabilitation can help improve several key components of fitness. They can focus on endurance, strength, power, mobility, building muscle and decreasing pain.

Adjunctive therapies
Adjunctive therapies are techniques used to assist in the treatment phase of the consultation. These include; dry needling, cupping and shockwave therapy.
DR. JACOB COLLARD
Dr. Jacob Collard (he/him) is a fully qualified, registered osteopath who completed a Bachelor of Science (osteopathy) and a Masters of Health Science (osteopathy) at Victoria University.
Jacob has a great love of all sports and was first exposed to osteopathy because of his involvement in football, cricket and tennis. With sport, came injuries and Jacob’s positive experience with manual therapy, motivated him to become an osteopath.
Jacob’s interest in osteopathy developed because of his curiosity about the causes of pain and how they could be best managed. He enjoys the challenge of diagnosing, treating and formulating management plans to prevent recurrence of musculoskeletal complaints in the sporting and general population. Jacob treats a wide range of conditions, with a particular interest around neck and back pain.
He has a passion for enhancing clients quality of life and physical performance. Jacob prides himself on his ability to incorporate a number of different techniques into his treatments. He uses direct techniques such as massage, joint manipulation, dry needling, cupping and muscle energy technique, in combination with more gentle indirect techniques.
In his spare time Jacob enjoys playing or watching sport and planning his next trip overseas.
